Garden maintenance in Norwich

I'm Alex, and I run Norwich Garden Maintenance as a one person business, working across Norwich and the villages around it. Whether you need a one off garden tidy up or regular upkeep through the season, I take on the paving, the weeds and the grass, and plan to bring in extra help as the work grows.

From cleaning paving slabs to weed removal and grass cutting and seeding, I'll do my best for your garden. Every job is priced after I have seen the garden, so you know the figure before any work starts.

How it works

Getting a garden sorted starts with a short message, not a long phone call.

  1. 1

    Send a message

Use the form to say how big the garden is and what needs doing. Photos help me judge the work.

  2. 2

I price it after seeing the garden

Every job is priced once I have seen your garden, so you know the figure before any work starts.

  3. 3

    The work is done

Rubbish and cuttings are cleared as the job goes on, so the garden is left tidy rather than with piles to sort out.

  4. 4

Keep it that way, if you want

A one off tidy up can stand on its own. If you would like the garden kept in shape, regular visits are set on a fixed day.

Paving, lawns and borders kept tidy

Every job starts with a walk round the garden to see what needs doing. Paving is cleaned, weeds are cleared from the joints and beds, and the grass is cut and edged, so the space is ready to use again.

Before your first visit

Most questions come down to price, timing and what the day involves. Here are the answers customers ask most often before they book.

What does a tidy up cost?
Every job is priced after I have seen your garden, so you know the figure before any work starts. A small patch is quoted differently from a full back garden with paving and borders.
How soon can you start?
Timing depends on the season and how much work is booked in. I will say when I can fit you in when I reply, and regular visits are set on a fixed day.
What happens on the day?
I clear the rubbish and cuttings as I go, so the garden is left tidy rather than with piles to sort out. Tell me beforehand if there is anything to leave alone.
What should I have ready?
Tell me roughly how big the garden is, what needs doing and whether there is a water supply and somewhere to leave the cuttings. Photos help me judge the work.
Which areas do you cover?
Norwich and the villages around it. If you are not sure whether you are in range, send a message with your postcode and I will say.
Do I have to sign up to regular visits?
No. A one off garden tidy up is a single job. Regular visits are a separate choice if you want the garden kept in shape afterwards.
